English: William Miller, known as Guillermo Miller in Latin America, was born in England in 1795 and served in Napoleonic Wars. He then traveled to Argentina, Chile, and Peru serving as general in their wars of independence. He served from 1843 a British Consul to the Kingdom of Hawaii and other islands in the Pacific and died in 1861.
