Summary

Description
English: one whole dragon in mahjong

When the winning hand contains three consecutive chows to complete a sequence from one to nine, the hand is call a whole dragon (yi tiao long). Yi tiao long takes up 9 tiles in the hand. The remaining 5 tiles can potentially add more score to the winning. For example, if the remaining 5 tiles were of the same suit as the yi tiao long, the score of qing yi se could be added. These five tiles provide many other ways to improve the hand.
