Description

Working drawings of three transverse corbel brackets, from the Chinese building manual of the Yingzao Fashi, published in the year 1103 by Li Jie, an architect and official of the Song Dynasty.

This picture appears on page 108 of Joseph Needham's book Science and Civilization in China: Volume 4, Part 3, Civil Engineering and Nautics.
