I plan to make better looking image similar to this one. H Padleckas 00:49, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
- It would be nice if You upload that version to Commons, giving a link as "other versions" or similar on this picture page. First version seen by me seems good, I have answewd the mail. G®iffen 12:07, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry it took me a while but I've finally finished and uploaded a diagram I made for a conventional semi-trailer truck called File:Conventional 18-wheeler truck diagram.PNG into WikiCommons. I have added this image to the Semi-trailer truck#Construction article in the English and corresponding German Wikipedias, along with a legend in the caption identifying various numbered parts in the English Wikipedia. I have also made a similar diagram for a COE (Cab Over Engine) semi-trailer truck, but I have not yet uploaded it into WikiCommons. H Padleckas (talk) 15:58, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- I have uploaded the File:COE 18-wheeler truck diagram.PNG (showing an analogous Cab Over Engine semi-truck diagram) into WikiCommons, but I have not yet inserted this pic into any Wikimedia pages yet. I've inserted the conventional truck pic into 6 pages in 5 wikiprojects, with legends (keys) in the English and Simple English Wikipedias and partial legends in the German Wikipedia and in one of the pages in the Lithuanian Wikipedia. Someone else added a legend in the Russian Wikipedia. It is my understanding the COE type of cab is more common in Europe, so I will try to insert the COE pic into European language Wikipedias, such as perhaps the Danish Wikipedia. I have also revised but not uploaded these pics to show a refrigeration unit at the front of the semi-trailer, labeling it as item 11. H Padleckas (talk) 00:31, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
