I know she'll die in Winter, I just want to mention that I nourished her since she was 2 and a half weeks old drifted in late May on my windowsill. I tried to kill her so she first ran off. Then I found her on the balcony. I was stunning flies with a newspaper for days and feeding to her. She grew well, right now she's almost ¼ in in size (August 2011) and still well. Those spiders really live long, if it weren't for the Winter colds. If I catch a male T. domestis I'll try to grab it and set it in her web for mating. Of course she'll probably eat him, but it's fun to watch nonetheless.
