Contested deletion
editThis file should not be speedy deleted as an obviously non-free file but which is not claimed by the uploader to be fair use, because I (the uploader, Centpacrr) personally took this picture on July 16, 2004 and own the copyright to it as is confirmed by the metadata at the bottom of this file's host page. The copy of the image that appears on the page "Scratchbuilder looking for structures to build - with dimensioned drawings !!!" where it states that it was posted on March 17, 2007 was clearly pirated from a page on the history of the Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad which I created in 2004, to which I also own the copyright, and which is hosted on CPRR.org, a railroad history site owned and operated by me and my family and of which I was the co-creator in February, 1999. As the sole creator and copyright holder of this image, I uploaded it to WP under my username "Centpacrr" on June 6, 2013 at which time I released it under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License. Please therefore promptly remove the "speedy deletion" tag as the image has been properly uploaded and licensed by its copyright holder. --Centpacrr (talk) 20:43, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. --Kevjonesin (talk) 23:17, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- The procedure to release copyright when exiting images are on the internet is well documented at WP:DCM, unless the Creative Commons release is shown on the other web page - http://BMLRR.com has no such release. Ronhjones (Talk) 23:19, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- hmm, Centpacrr, perhaps it would help if you were to upload/overwrite a high(er) resolution version of your original so as to better distinguish it from the website copy. --Kevjonesin (talk) 23:26, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
