Claudia Lawrence's status

Claudia was last seen alive on 18 March 2009. She is believed to have been abducted and murdered early on the morning of 19 March. But her body has never been found so her legal status is strictly that of being "missing". Under English law anyone can apply to the Court to have a person declared dead after they have been missing for 7 years. But as far as I am aware nobody has yet made such an application in the case of Claudia. Izzy (talk) 10:28, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
