This flag derives from a missinterpretation. In fact in the center was a yellow tamga instead yellow stripe. Tamga is now mainly used in the canton, but in 1917-1918 was used also in the center of the flag. Tamga was translated erroneousely as "stripe" (or band). Jaume Ollé
