ASEAN+3

edit

Why is Taiwan included in ASEAN+3 on this map? As far as I'm aware, Taiwan is not a member of the group. 128.36.159.168 (talk) 00:09, 6 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Taiwan is not recognized by the UN as a state. It is highlighted as a part of China, which is the member of ASEAN+3 and APTA. Emilfaro (talk) 12:55, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

ASEAN+3 is described in Wikipedia as a forum for cooperation, not a free trade area. ASEAN does have FTAs with each of the countries in +3, but China, Japan, and Korea don't have FTAs with each other, so isn't it misleading to present ASEAN+3 as one FTA group?
