How is the relative difficulty in this measured? It seems like this should at least be mentioned in the file description, even if it's not shown on the image itself. I assume it's measured in some objective way? 72.28.241.80 (talk) 19:04, 7 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

No measurement is necessary. In Bitcoin#Mining it is mentioned that for every mined block there is a specific difficulty target number. The difficulty target is recorded in every mined block. The relative mining difficulty at any given time is the ratio between the difficulty target at 9 January 2009 and the difficulty target at the given time.
