I think there is a mistake in Figure 9.1. Mohr's circle for a plane stress condition

by looking at the stress state on the plane D, one could conclude that there is a tensile stress (thus shown on positive side of mohr circle) and a counterclock-wise shear stress which indicates a negative sign on the mohr circle, so Point D on the circle should be moved to the lower limit of the circle

I believe this is because the axis is labelled incorrectly, the traditional way to set up mohr's circle has it positive downward so that the on the diagram corresponds to the same direction on as on diagrams etc. (Mechanics of Materials (7th ed) James M Gara snd Barry J Goodno section 7.4).
