Date of photograph and name
edit"Date of publication: 1940 or 1941. The ship was called Pappendrecht during 1940-1941, so the image must have been taken at that point."
This is nonsense. The ship was launched shortly before the German occupation of Rotterdam, when work stopped. The Germans took over and completed Papendrecht(sp) as Lothringen. This photo must have been taken after 1946, when she was restored to Van Ommeren and altered before going into service.
It is unhelpful to label this file with the name that the ship is not carrying. Also, she was never a steamship. Davidships (talk) 13:31, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Davidships: So I need to change the name of this file and the date? And I need to do a disambiguation? I thought they were all steamships back then? scope_creepTalk 13:42, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
- I have posted a request to rename the file to Papendrecht. I'll rename the article shortly. scope_creepTalk 13:52, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
