Copyright expired?

I believe the copyrights for this symbol have expired since 1956. am I wrong? Carny (talk) 07:03, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Copyrights don't expire without a reason; why do you believe this to be the case? French copyright expires 70 years after the author's death or, if collective, 70 years from first publication. If Priory was founded in 1956, why would copyrights have already expired (dissolution of an organization, by the way, does not necessarily dissolve its copyrights)?
