File talk:Ramabhadracharya Works - Painting in Ashtavakra (2010).jpg

The depiction of the event is culturally and factually wrong as a Brahmin was always seated higher than even kings, this picture attempts to illustrate a debate event taking place between the king Janaka and learned sage shri Ashtavakra in which case both the contestants will always be seated on equal height as the proper seating etiquette of Vedic culture dictates that during a debate all the parties involved sit down on an equally high seat.
