Pondicherry

Why is it written in Malayalam script? The majority of its people, as well as the majority of its territory, is in the Tamil speaking part of South Asia. best, Sunil060902 (talk) 16:54, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

English version?

Is there a version of this map with the names of the languages in English rather than in the languages themselves? It might be more useful for the names to be in English for the English wikipedia.--Sonjaaa (talk) 14:22, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

^In response, the names of the states/provinces are written in their native languages, not the names of the languages themselves.

Andhra Pradesh

Only "Andhra" is written in Telugu for Andhra Pradesh. This is inconsistent, as Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Arunachal Pradesh all have the "Pradesh" in their names on the map. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.164.62.130 (talk) 08:44, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
