Sorry, but this picture (which is in use under Tetranychus urticae in several articles) does definitely NOT show the species Tetranychus urticae - it's in fact the European red mite Panonychus ulmi, which has a completely different biology etc.... I've counted hundreds of thousands T.urticae in my life already!
