Contested deletion

This file should not be speedy deleted as an "obviously non-free file" but which is not claimed by the uploader to be fair use, because... Permission to use the file was granted by the creator, Robert Hargraves. I forwarded his email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org on March 8th. I received a response from Ed Sorensen on March 12th, saying "We cannot accept forwarded permission and we will require a release sent from an official email account within the @thorconpower.com email domain." Dr. Hargraves used his gmail address in the email I forwarded. I will ask him to send an email directly to you, which should eliminate the suspicion that I forged the forwarded email. I don't know if his company has a mail server, or if they just use gmail like many companies, but perhaps a call to the company will eliminate the suspicion that he is faking something, or that I might have created a fake gmail account in his name.
Before I bother him with this, I need to resolve some other issues with the article. It has been rejected because the source of much of the data in the article is documents from the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) database on new reactors. The reviewer objected to the fact that this data actually originates from the companies reporting to the IAEA, so it cannot be trusted. There is no better source of data on these new reactors, so it seems that we will have the same trouble with all the other reactor articles. I need to make a decision whether to spend any more time with Wikipedia. --David MacQuigg 12:51, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
