First Time is a 2010 Philippine television drama romance series broadcast by GMA Network. Directed by Andoy Ranay, it stars Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio and Jake Vargas. It premiered on February 8, 2010 on the network's Telebabad line up replacing Ikaw Sana. The series concluded on May 28, 2010 with a total of 77 episodes. It was replaced by Langit sa Piling Mo in its timeslot.

Controversy
editOn May 11, 2010, director of the series, Andoy Ranay reportedly insulted the cast member Jake Vargas during the production of the series.[7] Vargas' then-manager, German Moreno, went to the set of the series and confronted Ranay.[8]
Ratings
editAccording to AGB Nielsen Philippines' Mega Manila household television ratings, the pilot episode of First Time earned a 22.5% rating.[9]
