Geography
editGarikapadu is situated to the northeast of the mandal headquarters, Kakumanu,[4] at 16°04′50″N 80°25′48″E / 16.080438°N 80.429967°E. It is spread over an area of 2,407 ha (5,950 acres).[2]
Governance
editGarikapadu gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[1] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member.[5]
Education
editAs per the school information report for the academic year 2018–19, the village has 8 Zilla/Mandal Parishad schools.[6]
