Jangal Rural District (Fasa County)

Jangal Rural District (Persian: دهستان جنگل)[3] is in the Central District of Fasa County, Fars province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Moqaberi.[5]

Demographics
editPopulation
editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 4,694 in 1,158 households.[6] There were 5,451 inhabitants in 1,462 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 5,535 in 1,641 households. The most populous of its 81 villages was Mahmudabad-e Sofla, with 725 people.[2]
