Kordi Chal

Kordi Chal (Persian: کردیچال)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Kelardasht-e Sharqi Rural District[4][b] of the Central District of Kelardasht County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,466 in 435 households, when it was in Kelardasht Rural District[c] of the former Kelardasht District of Chalus County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,447 people in 451 households,[7] by which time the rural district had been renamed Kelardasht-e Sharqi Rural District.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,566 people in 531 households, when the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Kelardasht County, and the rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[8] It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
