Lahijan Rural District (Tabriz County)

Lahijan Rural District (Persian: دهستان لاهيجان)[3][a] is in Khosrowshah District of Tabriz County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Lahijan.[5]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 14,052 in 3,713 households.[6] There were 15,768 inhabitants in 4,607 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 16,290 in 5,017 households. The most populous of its eight villages was Lahijan (now a city),[8] with 5,430 people.[2]
