Mursheed Mashiding Macarimbang Lomandong, Al-Haj, is a retired Chief of Hospital at Balindong District Hospital in Wato-Balindong, Lanao del Sur, BARMM, Philippines, and the Sultan of Kablangan in Poona Piagapo, Lanao del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.[1][2]

He is an MD specializing in ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology-head and neck. He is also a certified naturopathic medical doctor and a certified hospital administrator.

Dr. Lomandong is the regional director of Alpha Phi Omega (APO) - BARMM Alumni Association under Alpha Phi Omega Philippines, Inc. - Collegiate.[3]

Dr. Mashiding Lomandong passed the PAMS Diplomate Exam and was awarded the following: Fellowship of the Philippine Society of Medical Specialists, Fellowship of the Philippine Academy of Medical Specialists, and Fellowship of the Philippine College of Hospital Administration. He is also a Master of Hospital Administration, a Master of Health Management, and a Doctor of Medicine.[4]

Sultanate

In November 5, 2023, the coronation of Dr. Mursheed Mashiding Macarimbang Lomandong, Al-Haj as Sultan of Kablangan was held at Mahogany Hills, Palao, Iligan City, Lanao del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines. He is a direct descendant of Boisan of Kablangan, followed by his son Sultan Atongkay of Kablangan, then his son Dima, then his daughter Paki, then her daughter Bae Rini of Madalum, then her son son Sultan Dardagan Alawi Macarimbang of Madalum, and lastly, his daughter Potre Zaman, the mother of Sultan Macarimbang Lomandong.[5]

Chief of Hospital

He initiated an action to increase the bed capacity of the Balindong District Hospital at Wato-Balindong as its chief. This was later passed, officially designated as Republic Act No. 11884, approved and signed by former President Rodrigo Duterte in 2022. The previous bed capacity of 10 beds was increased to 50 beds after the implementation of the act.[6]
