Module:PHL sports team/PBA: multiple team codes supported
editBabymissfortune, be extra careful when updating the module data in Module:PHL sports team/PBA.
"COL" is being used in 2019 season and removing it to update to "TER" code will affect the articles using the old team code.
For future reference: do something like this, either: return { ... COL = {"Terrafirma Dyip", "Terrafirma", ["2018thru2019"] = "Columbian Dyip" }, TER = "COL", ... }
|
or: return { ... COL = "TER", TER = {"Terrafirma Dyip", "Terrafirma", ["2018thru2019"] = "Columbian Dyip" }, ... }

I do not have access to a PC RN, but it can be fixed by changing ADMU to Ateneo. Howard the Duck (talk) 04:29, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- You must understand that "aliasing" is powerful to support multiple team codes. Add, not change. See this diff for future reference. – McVahl (talk) 06:02, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
Errors
edit@Howard the Duck: It looks one or more of recent edits have led to errors in articles. For example, see "Lua error in Module:PHL_sports_team at line 108: Invalid team: ADMU" at UAAP Season 70. More articles are listed here. I'm hoping you can fix that. Johnuniq (talk) 04:10, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
Updates
edit- Must link to Adamson Soaring Falcons basketball
- Ateneo teams are now called "Ateneo Blue Eagles"
- UP teams are supposedly like Ateneo but there's still variance.
NCAA Juniors
editRequest to add the following:
- UAAPteam|Lyceum|inst=LPU-C and UAAPteam|Lyceum|inst=Lyceum-Cavite for Lyceum of the Philippines University - Cavite, which represents LPU's juniors' team.
- UAAPteam|Mapua|inst=Malayan
- UAAPteam|San Beda|inst=San Beda-Rizal
Lyceum-Cavite, Malayan, and San Beda-Rizal are more prevalent than LPU-C, MHSS, and SBU-R. Thanks. Linsanity 13:38, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
