Mohammed Hossain Al Morshed

Mohammed Hossain Al Morshed ndc, afwc, psc is a Major General of Bangladesh Army and Commandant, Bangladesh Infantry Regimental Centre. Prior to that, he was Director General of National Security Intelligence.[1] Prior to join NSI, he was Senior Directing Staff (Army-2) at National Defence College.[2]

Military career

Morshed was commissioned as an officer in the corps of Infantry at 26th BMA Long Course in June, 1992.[1]

In 2018, Morshed was the Chairman of the tournament committee at the Savar Golf Club.[3]

Morshed was an instructor at the National Defence College[4].

In April 2024, Morshed was appointed director general of the National Security National Security Intelligence replacing Major General T. M. Jobaer.[1] [5] On 12 August 2024 he was removed from the post and was succeeded by Major General Abu Mohammad Sarwar Farid on 13 August 2024.
