Phor[1] also‌ signeted‌ ‌as Phour or Phalswal is an autocratic‌ Sikh surname and feudatory title used by Dhaliwal‌ Jats of Bagri Devision,[2][3] primarily recognised as a secondary habitational faction that arose among the widely dispersed "Jats of the Dhaliwal lineage.[4][5]

Its variation compatibly known as Purewal closely assimilate with overlapping fore-fathers ancestry of Paura or Pauria or Por or Phor or Paurwal and Purewal tribe of the present Jats.[6][additional citation(s) needed]
