Reformed Presbyterian Church
editThe "Did you know" box refers to the "growing Reformed Presbyterian Church of Australia", but there is no citation to suggest that it is growing. StAnselm 15:05, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry. I've seen the numbers on the individual congregations, and I can confirm that they're growing by a simple process of addition, but a) I don't have all the sources (although I have seen them), and b) I'm unsure if this counts as research. So I removed the word "growing". -- TimNelson 01:25, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Categorization of the Portal
editI find it puzzling why "Calvinism" is fitted in amongst the likes of Religions in general, when it is part of Protestant Christianity. It's slightly misleading, making Calvinism look like a religion itself, hehe. --K-Rio 00:49, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- There's also Portal:Catholicism, which is not an independent religion either. This and that one are both religious portals, though not strictly speaking religion portals. --Flex (talk/contribs) 15:37, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Random
editThe Portal had been empty of content for weeks, so I made it a random portal so nobody will have to maintian it. -- SECisek (talk) 15:23, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Article selection issues
editHello. As several of you might already know, there are a rather large number of portals relating to the basic subject of "Christianity" and all of its subtopics, this being one of them. One problem which might arise from the presence of all these portals is the possibility that certain articles might be comparatively overused by the portals, possibly even concurrently, while other articles as worthy get overlooked. To possibly help reduce the likelihood of that happening, I have started a list at User:John Carter/Christianity portals of the various eligible articles which at least seem to me to be directly relevant to the portals. Anyone so interested is more than encouraged to take part in the selection of articles. Thank you. John Carter (talk) 00:54, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
