Ihering's Atlantic spiny rat

Ihering's Atlantic spiny-rat[2] or Ihering's spiny rat[1] (Trinomys iheringi) is a spiny rat species from South America. It is endemic to Brazil,[2][1] and was named in honor of Hermann von Ihering.
