Purpurellus gambiensis, common name : the Gambia Murex, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]

editThis species is distributed in the Atlantic Ocean along Senegal, Guinea and Angola.
