Rafsanjan County (Persian: شهرستان رفسنجان) is in Kerman province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Rafsanjan.[3]

History
editAfter the 2006 National Census, Anar District was separated from the county in the establishment of Anar County, with the city of Anar as its capital.[4] The village of Ferdowsiyeh was elevated to the status of the city of Safayyeh.[5] After the 2016 census, the village of Javadiyeh ol Hiyeh was elevated to the status of a city.[6]

editAt the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 291,417, in 71,830 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 287,921 people in 76,797 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 311,214 in 91,511 households.[2]
