Rakhni (also known as Rakni) is a town and union council of Barkhan District in the Balochistan, Pakistan.[1] It is located at an altitude of 1093 metres (3589 feet) close to Punjab and Balochistan border near Fort Munro.[2]

Sources of Income
editThe major source of income is livestock. Sixty percent of people earn through livestock, thirty percent through cultivation and the remaining ten percent through other professions.
Language
editKhetrani and Hasanki is the main language and Balochi is also spoken.
Climate
editIn summer the weather is usually hot. In winter, there is snow on the nearest mountains peaks.
