Różana [ruˈʐana] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stoszowice, within Ząbkowice Śląskie County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Stoszowice, 11 km (7 mi) north-west of Ząbkowice Śląskie, and 61 km (38 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

History
editAfter the Seocnd World War, Polish rule was estanlished over Silesia. Local Germans, unaware of the political decisions until then, were evicted starting from February 1946. On Palm Sunday 1946, it was Rosenbach'S turn for eviction. Polish militia surrounded the village in the morning, and in the afternoon, Germans had 20 minutes to prepare for exulsion. This event was followed by severl further rounds of eviction. [2]
