Sérgio Silva de Souza Júnior (born 24 September 1979), better known as Maricá, is a Brazilian former professional footballer, who played as a right back.[1]

Career
editPlayer of the under-17 team at the 1995 World Cup,[2] he had a meteoric rise at Vasco, standing out mainly in the 1997 Campeonato Brasileiro campaign. He played for several years at Vasco, accumulating titles, but after being sold to AEK Athens, he was unable to repeat his previous achievements, moving from club to club over the years.[3]
