La Niña

There is no definitive linkage between El Niño/La Niña and this outbreak, or tornado activity in general (see Schaefer, 1999). Evolauxia 23:23, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

This article needs work.

The aid and media attention sections need rewriting. They consist of one third of the article, include too much trivia about the FCC students' activities during and after the events and reads as though the students were the only people to assist the victims. The tone is not encyclopedic at all. I'll try to work on it this weekend if no one has any objections.Scrapbkn (talk) 21:00, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

Please, please do. Mad props to the kids at FCC for whatever they did to help that night, but it's kinda disgusting to see that mess edited into this article -- from the tone, i'm surprised they didn't go all-out to link back to FCC every time they mentioned it, lol. Many groups helped everyone out during that time. Family, friends, and neighbors alike, we all dropped our differences, came together, and did what we could for each other.
