I'll give this a go. ♦ jaguar 15:02, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
- The lead is on the short side and doesn't summarise the article adequately per WP:LEAD. An expansion is needed before this part meets the GA criteria
- "However, it wasn't until March 1805" - was not
- "The men of these remaining small units were merged to form the new 1st Swiss Regiment," - per MOS:BOLD, use of bold should be confined to the lead
- "and because the British mistook the 1st Swiss as the British De Watteville's Regiment (because of the almost identical uniform)" - the bracketed statement could be merged in this sentence
- "Among the officers, one was killed, 1 mortally wounded, and 4 wounded" - write small numbers in prose
- "to guard the (left) northern flank" - remove these brackets
- "Life was far from perfect, however" - informal language
- "led the Swiss into disaster and the annals of history" - too poetic for Wikipedia I'm afraid :-(
- "toward the enemy yelling En avant le 2e!" - this should be in quotes
- All three paragraphs in the Uniform section between with "1st Swiss" - needs mixing up
That's all I have for this one. I'll leave this on hold. ♦ jaguar 20:02, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
