Talk:2000 Connecticut Huskies men's soccer team

I disagree with the page move from 2000 Connecticut Huskies men's soccer team. The consensus for moving season pages indicated that we should start with the 2013–14 academic year, and all other sports followed that convention. There is no reason for soccer to be different. If we are going back further, we should establish that via consensus, rather than having the sports follow different conventions. Billcasey905 (talk) 11:39, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Comment The standard for US College Sports has been to use "team" instead of "season." While I would have no objection to a change, I think such a change should be discussed among all college sports projects, such as WP:WikiProject College football, WP:WikiProject College Basketball, and WP:WikiProject College baseball, among others as it would impact literally tens of thousands of articles. The point at issue here is between the name "UConn" versus "Connecticut." Do you have any view on that? Billcasey905 (talk) 11:42, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
