Fair use rationale for Image:Ecf2000.jpg
editImage:Ecf2000.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

editI don't remember McManaman playing as right fullback, neither Salgado as a central defender or Campo as a midfielder.
What I remember is Campo as central defender, Salgado as right back and McManaman as midfielder. Is it possible to check this out and change it, if true? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.38.241.56 (talk) 23:03, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Move discussion in progress

First final between non-champion teams.
editDue to the change in format in the competition in the 1997-98 season, this is the first final played between two teams that did not win their domestic league the previous season or were not defending champions of the competition. It would be worth commenting on this at the beginning of the article. Vladimirustinak (talk) 17:58, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
- It's not mentioned because it's not true. Neither Manchester United nor Bayern Munich were champions of their respective nations before the 1998-99 season, hence the 1999 final was the first in which neither team had won either their domestic league or the Champions League the previous season. – PeeJay 19:53, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
