Orphaned references in 2013 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 2013 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "Aspar":
- From 2010 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season: "Smith confirmed to remain with Bancaja Aspar". motogp.com. Dorna Sports. 2009-11-10. Retrieved 2009-11-10.
- From 2011 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season: "Julian Simon and Nico Terol extend deals with Aspar Team". motogp.com. Dorna Sports. 15 October 2010. Retrieved 5 November 2010.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 21:11, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
Number 1
editCould someone explain on the page why the defending champions aren't carrying the number 1 on their bikes this year? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.116.169.65 (talk) 13:35, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
Because nobody (Lorenzo this year) choosed it. Sometimes they think it gaves "bad luck", e.g.: Lorenzo, choosed it when he had the opportunity (end of 2010, for 2011) an had a bad 2011 season... or just because they prefer their number after carrying it one season... Rossi had the 1 sometimes, but on last (2009?) chance he preferred to carry the 46. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.44.133.109 (talk) 06:38, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
Rookies
editHow come Jordi Torres is listed as rookie in Moto 2? Didn't he compete last season in that same class?Tykyheg (talk) 10:49, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
- Because this is his first season in Moto2 as a regular rider. In the past seasons he has always competed as a wild-card or as a replacement rider. –Gpmat (talk) 11:24, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
