- "The 32-team tournament" could you just add a sentence about the 32 teams qualifying through their respective football organisation's qualifying?

- "The 32nd and final spot was" you haven't mentioned who qualified in the previous 31 slots.

- Suggest Uruguay v Brazil (1950 FIFA World Cup) is moved appropriately, not a GA need, but I trust you to fix this anomaly.
- It's worth bearing in mind that this match was not a final in the traditional sense - that particular world cup was held as a simple league format rather than a knockout, and it was only by fortuitous coincidence that the top two teams happened to be playing each other for the title in the final game. I have amended the link in the article away from the misnomered redirect. — Amakuru (talk) 20:03, 24 September 2021 (UTC)
- "Guinness World Records state that the official crowd for the game was 173,850, but note that with illegal entrants included, who were not recorded, the figure could have been as high as 210,000.[16] T" that's a footnote, it's not relevant to this article.

- "The match ball ... featured a variation " was a variation?
- Done. — Amakuru (talk) 19:58, 24 September 2021 (UTC)

- "was shown a red card in the 37th minute after" we've just mentioned a half-time lead so this seems out of order.
- Fixed. — Amakuru (talk) 13:28, 26 September 2021 (UTC)

- I haven't specifically linked "break" before. I'd have thought a fresh link here is useful, even I've already linked the Glossary_of_association_football_terms article before? — Amakuru (talk) 14:10, 26 September 2021 (UTC)

- Ref 81, could link YouTube, is this using the {{Cite AV media}} template properly?
- I've removed the whole line. The linked YouTube video was not an officially published one, so probably suffered from Copyvio issues; and I couldn't find the detail about the Ole Ole song playing anywhere else. — Amakuru (talk) 14:53, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
- RSSSF needs consistent format in the refs.

- Check for and remove SHOUTING, e.g. LOOK in ref 68 (which also could use a publisher of CBS instead of that current cbssports.com)
