- ... that Morecambe secured promotion to the third tier of English football for the first time in their history when they won the 2021 EFL League Two play-off Final?

Top scorers
editHi TRM, Can you pls check/tweak Ref 11? The URL is same Newport as ref 12). I think it should be this but totals don't match ie Gomes 16 and Stockton 15. JennyOz (talk) 18:18, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
- JennyOz cheers, fixed. Gomes' 16 includes the one he scored in the in final, hence why they're both listed in the article as having 15 in the regular season. Thanks, good spot. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 19:44, 28 June 2021 (UTC)

Taking a look now...you know the drill...Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 01:02, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
The referee for the match, played in front of 9,083 spectators in sunny conditions, was Bobby Madley. - subject change between clauses makes this read funnily, try " The match was played in front of 9,083 spectators in sunny conditions, and refereed by Bobby Madley." (actually run-on and not great but you get the idea...)
Regular time in the match ended goalless and the game went into extra time. - reads oddly...needs a rephrase...
The match kicked off around 3 p.m. on 31 May 2021 in sunny conditions with 9,083 spectators in attendance. - is "in attendance" necessary?
