There are some basics about the designations of PLA ground force.
45th Tank Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment was NOT 45th Regiment (a.k.a. 45th Infantry Regiment, not existed at all).
A tank self-propelled artillery regiment was NOT an artillery regiment, but a TANK REGIMENT that equipped with 24 T-34s and 16 SU-76s.
56th Motorized Infantry Brigade was NOT A PART OF 29th Infantry division, but the 29th division ITSELF: the division was REDUCED TO 56th Motorized Infantry Brigade in 1998.
