8 Ball Aitken was nominated for a Golden Guitar Award this year by the Country Music Association of Australia. It's Australia's national country music awards.
See www.country.com.au Most Australian country & blues artists are released via independent labels. 8 Ball Aitken is on an independent label. www.phoenixmovement.com He receives national airplay on radio & TV around Australia, especially the ABC & on the Country Music Channel. Try Googling Mildura country music festival - they present the Southern Stars awards. He won in 2008. He also won the Blues & Roots Song of the year at Q Song... Try Googling Q Music Q song Awards 2008. He has also just received an APRA Award nomination. Check out www.apra.com.au Who says Aussie country musuic charts don't count? Is this just your opinion?
