A.C. Palazzolo (Lombardy) → A.C. Palazzolo – No real reason to specify that the club is in Lombardy. Moreover, the similarly-named club in Sicily has changed its denomination and has moved to Syracuse (see this article). --Relisted. -- tariqabjotu 03:12, 1 September 2013 (UTC) CapPixel (talk) 10:30, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

- Support - The sources are consistent and the Lombardy club has existed longer. --MicroX (talk) 04:35, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose, pending move of A.C. Palazzolo A.S.D. article. ENeville (talk) 17:59, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
- Why? The two articles have different names and in Italy the club in Palazzolo dell'Oglio is more popular, anyway. CapPixel (talk) 09:38, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
- Because the two articles currently share "A.C. Palazzolo" and there's no indication that this article is primary per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC: despite the unsupported claim of greater popularity, stats.grok.se shows about more page views for A.C. Palazzolo A.S.D.. If the other article should be moved, why not just move it, thus obviating the naming collision? ENeville (talk) 00:57, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
- I meant that the team is more notable, having spent many seasons as a professional team (even taking part in a promotion play-off for Serie B during the 50s), not the article itself. The club in Sicily spent really few Serie D seasons as their maximum achivement. Moreover, we already have an article about the club in Siracusa and, the two teams have similar denomination, not the same. This article was moved with the motivation "exact name of the team"... that's not true! This club is called A.C. Palazzolo, not A.C. Palazzolo (Lombardy), while the other is A.C. Palazzolo A.S.D.. Discussion
edit- Any additional comments:
What exactly does that Italian news report say? (I don't speak Italian). Also, what does A.C.D. mean in English? --MicroX (talk) 18:13, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
- The article talks about the transferring and renaming to Siracusa Calcio of the A.C. Palazzolo of Sicily. A.C.D. stands for Associazione Calcio Dilettantistica that means Amateur Football Association. CapPixel (talk)
