There are three options for preparing for an AP exam. First (and most obvious), take the AP course offered by your local high school. Second, study for it on your own. (This one may be problematic for most high school students.) Third, take it online. This last option is probably the best option for home schooled kids, and may also work if the local high school is supportive and doesn't offer the course in house.
Given that the number of home school kids is increasing rapidly, and that the number of AP courses offered by high schools is dropping due to budget cuts, should a section listing online AP courses be added to the article? If so, the first one I found can be found at http://www.e-vocable.com/apfinfodesk.html. Thoughts?
