Might seem obvious…
editThe article has a section entitled "Big tournaments" with a link to "List of ATP Tour Top-level tournament singles champions". That page says (they) are considered the "top-tier events".
Are they all the same thing?
Why not define it in this article… or why not use “Top-level” instead of “Big” in the heading?

- "Big tournaments" is not a recognised tennis concept. The section seems to be original research with an unencyclopaedic heading. I suggest it should be removed. Speser (talk) 17:39, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
- @MBG02, @Speser: 'Big Titles' is a collective noun used by the ATP for the Grand Slams, Masters, ATP Finals and Olympics. The WTA doesn't use the same term, so in order to have consistency between the men's and women's article titles, "top-level" was obviously decided to be used as a synonym. I've updated the section on this article, replacing "Big tournaments" with "Big Titles", and removing "Big Finals", which is not a term the ATP uses. Letcord (talk) 22:50, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
Wins missing?
editWhere can I find a simple list of wins? Every stat known to mankind is here except wins seems to have been purged?? 132.147.28.179 (talk) 23:53, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
Titles & finals
editJimmy Connors has the most titles at 109. He is higher than Federer. Connors is missing. 2600:8800:258E:F100:B060:FC59:44BE:128B (talk) 03:03, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
- Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl are missing in the finals table. They must be in there because they must have played at least as many finals as they have wins. Fliegenhasser (talk) 13:28, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
- No because the ATP Tour started in 1990. Records prior to that will not be here. Fyunck(click) (talk) 06:22, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
Why is John McEnroe completely missing from this page?
editJohn McEnroe's career numbers are weirdly missing from this page. Why? He won 77 titles and should be 6th on the list. Davis6864 (talk) 02:26, 24 May 2024 (UTC)

- If McEnroe and Lendl's wins are too early to be included, then so are Connors'. There is no internally-consistent reason that can include one and not the others; either all three belong on the list or none of them do. Bbradley62 (talk) 17:53, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- Someone recently added Connors and it has been removed. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 18:14, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
