However, I believe since that edit all of the copied text appears to have been removed or substantially reworded. According to Wikipedia:Copyright violations I have subst'ed the cclean template to the top of this talk page section. -84user (talk) 14:01, 25 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

So I looked into this and Dhaka was part of Pakistan until 1971, Mamun was born in 1966, so he was born in Pakistan. I don't know the specifics of how this is generally handled, so I'm leaving it as Pakistan for now, pending discussion here. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 19:21, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Even in 1966 we didn't get independence as Bangladeshi after our independence we always write Born in Bangladesh. We feel offended if anyone writes or treats us Pakistani as our history with them is not good. So, please change it. Dr. A. A. Mamun felt really offended when he saw it was changed to East Pakistan.
Partly done: Per Wikipedia policy, infoboxes should use the birth place as it was named at the time of birth; this is described in the documentation at Template:Infobox person. Therefore, despite the fact that Dhaka is now no longer part of Pakistan, Mamun was technically born in Pakistan, as ScottishFinnishRadish points out, and so the article should remain as such. As for the research articles, Google Scholar is returning over 400 results, and since about half of those have been published since that was last updated in 2013, I've updated that bit.
