Misleading article
editThis article is completely misleading. Abbey Hulton may have been a village once, but all my life (I'm 57) it has been an extremely rough council estate. This isn't what is normally described as a 'suburb'. Most people coming here will be looking for info on the estate (when it was built, what the demographics are, etc) and there's absolutely nothing about this at present. Compare the article on Bentilee. --Ef80 (talk) 16:54, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
End of the Abbey
editThe Abbey is somewhat imprecisely stated to have been "taken apart (disbanded)" in 1538. Should not the correct term be "dissolved", as part of Henry VIII's Dissolution of the monasteries in England? Does the "taken apart" refer metaphorically to the dissolving of the abbey as an organization or the literal subsequent demolition of the buildings?Cloptonson (talk) 19:01, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
