This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <this person is the first arab champion in motosports on a global scale>. — Egeymi (talk) 21:57, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <his name is on wikipedia article 2011 FIA GT3 European championship without any indication. So I think he is deserved to be mentioned>. — Egeymi (talk) 22:27, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Abdulaziz bin Turki Al SaudAbdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal – While his official name is "Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal Al-Saud", King Faisal's family are commonly known with the last name "Al-Faisal". The name "Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal" is more commonly used than "Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Saud".[1][2][3][4][5][6] It is also the name used in motorsports.[7][8][9] You can even see this on the Ministry of Sports website.[10]

Comment: Should it be Al Faisal (with a space) or Al-Faisal (with a dash)? The linked sources seem to use both. Which is predominant? Bensci54 (talk) 17:10, 25 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's the same, just different writing convention. It's perhaps better to use Al-Faisal to be consistent with the rest of his family's pages Turki Al-Faisal and Khalid Al-Faisal, and to make it clear that it is "al" faisal (الفيصل) and not "āl" faisal (آل فيصل) High surv (talk) 08:20, 26 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
