Abigal DeverauxAbigail Deveraux – Abigail is her birth name, and name most associated to the character. It should be moved to the page, per common names! Since there was already an Abigail page that was incorrectly redirected, I put her page back there. Feel free to fix as you see fit. Musicfreak7676 (talk) 03:29, 28 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Abigail Deveraux. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Emily Montague

edit

Over the years I have seen several sources state that Emily Montague portrayed the role of Abigail temporarily in April 2007. I saw a video of her as Abigail a few years ago, but I have not been able to locate it, however it can also be seen here (https://www.soapcentral.com/days/whoswho/abigail.php) and on the actresses' IMDb profile, and if you type in "Emily Montague Abigail Deveraux" you can see people talking about it. According to soapcentral, the role was temporarily replaced in February 1998 too. I think I will add these inDaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 03:15, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

IMDb is not a reliable source, per Wikipedia:Citing IMDb (and more importantly WP:IMDB/BLP), and while Soapcentral.com is reliable for a lot of core information, one thing they are not reliable for are their character profiles. As well, they first few search results for "Emily Montague Abigail Deveraux" are Fandom (a.k.a. Wikia) pages, which are also not reliable, as well as soap fan boards, which — and hate to be repetitive — are not reliable. However, did find a book result which is most likely the most reliable piece of source we have, and will cite it in the article. Just for future reference, however, you really need to cite the information you add into articles, instead of just adding it in and sometimes opening an unnecessary talk page discussion, as well as use an edit summary with every edit you make. livelikemusic (TALK!) 13:31, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Update: However, upon further inspection, the information is now in-question, as the book has published false information, which contradicts multiple reliable sources of Ashley Benson's portrayal, citing her remaining in the role until 2009, which is not true. Not to mention, other portrayals — such as Judi Evans' as Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis is false. So, thus source should not be added, especially as book was self-published, and likely did not have anyone fact-check the information. livelikemusic (TALK!) 13:38, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
