editHow would museums with more than one century of history number their contents: e.g British Museum, Ashmolean Museum, etc. ?--Felix folio secundus 06:57, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- There's nothing preventing a museum from using the full 4-digit year instead of just 2 digits, according to need. Cataloging software allows this. Richard K. Carson (talk) 02:59, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
